Shalamar blew up really big back in the late 70s early 80s. For the longest time "I could you make you feel good" waas my favourite song.

Dead Giveaway has this typical 80-ish sound but Howard's voice lifts it up to a higher level imo .

From the 1983 album The Look , including another fave of mine , Right Here .
I have a feeling that Jody and Jeffrey already left Shalamar during this video-shoot ... they're nowhere to be spotted .
They still appeared on the album-sleeve , but the Over & Over clip must have been shot in the later year of 1983 , cause Micky Free was already in the spotlight .
Another cool jam is the midtempo Sweeter As The Days Go By , from 1981 and with that dazzling wobbly keyboard-intro .
