Any Barenaked Ladies fans here?

I'm not a huge fan, although I have a couple of albums and I've seen them play once. In the UK they had a very small following when I was growing up, with Nicky Campbell playing "Be My Yoko Ono" and "If I Had $1,000,000" on a regular basis, but it was the album Stunt that was the first album I bought, and the only one I still absolutely love. I remember Prince said it was the best album of 1998, which I'd agree with.

Any BNL fans out there?

Yeah. I never planned on being a fan of the ladies, but a good friend of mine worships them and put a few of their albums on2 my MP3 player and I gotta say they've really grown on me. Particularly the album "Gordon". I've yet 2 see them live, but definitely plan when next they're out in my neck o' the woods.

Fucking love them. Have you seen the selection they have on iTunes? They put up every concert as a live album from their 2004 tour and do regular podcasts. They've always used the internet well to treat their fans.

They hardly ever play the UK though, and when they do it's always up north. A change from most bands, but not good for me sad

Gordon is one of my all time favourite albums.

Yah,

I love the Ladies. Their new album is released on Sept 12th. I saw their Christmas show this past December and they were great as always. Gordon is a classic.

I'm sorry, but they are just awful. They are bad, like vintage Backstreet boys or some such stuff.

Ouch, vintage Backstreet Boys?? Their live shows are very accomplished and they don't take themselves that seriously at all. Besides... they don't dance at all.
