Dig, u really shouldn't let other folks opinions rattle u to the point to where u lose your cool. Seriously. And the cold part about this is that for the most part, I was just fucking with u. Yeah, there's folks on here that own some of my music, that's a straight fact. But besides that, I was just plalying around with u, teasing, u know? Nothing deep. But then u mess around and truly start to flip out over some shit that didn't even go down. Really though, it's not that deep. At least, not to me. But uh, to paraphrase Rhonda, don't trip cuz my dick is the biggest! You'll be alright. Chris, don't make me unzip your trousers and mess around with your toolkit again. you KNOW i can take a joke! seriously though-dude,you are hung like a fuckin' rhino! how in the hell did it get SO big? steroids?pump?rapid movement? are you using medium gague strings these days? Uh, I ain't answering any of these questions except for nah, I use light strings. As someone else posted earlier, the blues came before gospel, which that was something I didn't know. I was hip that the blues ( or a form of it) was derived from music from Africa, but I would have sworn that gospel had been around since slavery. It was always my understanding that a lot of what slaves had to endure actually formed gospel. They would sing lyrics about God delivering them from their oppression and having faith that Jesus would do just that. If that's not the blueprint for gospel, then I don't know what is. All the good musical styles/genres were invented by black people. I mean what the heck have white people come up with? Punk? Metal music? Country? Puh-lease, biatches. Us honkeys sho ain't funky (though there are some exceptions of course, like yours truly, Dr. Funk-N-Stein, king of the funk ) It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Without knowing too much about it, I would have said that the spirituals the slaves sang were basically early Gospel, so I agree with you. Blues came from that and maybe took on more "earthly" lyrics like love and such. Kinda limited view, maybe. My guess is that both Gospel and Blues more or less started at the same time and the same place. | |
