my recommendations for wayne shorter discs are:
early stuff on vee-jay label introducing wayne shorter second genesis with art blakey and the jazz messengers: a night in tunisia lausanne 1960 witch doctor caravan blue note: night dreamer juju the soothsayer adam's apple with miles davis: (i would have to recommend getting everything w/ miles, but know not everyone's budget can accommodate that, so..) sorcerer nefertiti highlights for the plugged nickel 1965 in a silent way weather report: weather report black market heavy weather later career: vsop-the quintet footprints live ------------------------------------------------

Saw him live at Pori Jazz a couple of years back It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
