Mariahs Tour Begins Probably one of the strangest touring ideas ever, touring after a CD has already run its course, but Mariah begins her 43 date tour on Saturday in Miami. I debated whether going to see Mariah here in NYC, but i had to, i always have loved Mariah, but i must admit as a guy im going to see Mariah "the body" and not Mariah "the singer" though i have heard some good Singing reviews from the warm up dates she played the last two weeks that she is using her vocals not back tracks, and she has reworked alot of the songs to change it up.
My only complaint is why is there an opening act for all the dates, i mean she has more than enough material to do a show with, to start the tour Busta Rhymes will open and here In NYC Sean Paul will open, well i will be getting there late obviously for that, dont need to see or hear Sean paul. 
I mean can you blame me for not really caring about what she will sing? At least she doesnt pull that "no one takes me serious as a singer and they only focus on my looks crap" "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |

I've been to very few shows where there wasn't an opening act. I hate most opening acts although I've been pleasantly surprised on many occasions. I don't need to see Sean Paul or Busta Rhymes but it is what it is. I can't wait to hear the song change ups. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

Actually for me its opposit, almost every show i have been to there hasnt been an opening act. I think my problem is that Mariah has got the material but she still doesnt do shows over 90 minutes (when u deduct her change times) her shows are very short. No opening acts is a dream come true. I'm impatient so I'd love for the artist that I paid to see to just walk on stage and just begin performing. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

I gotta say I've seen Mariah on the RAINBOW and CHARMBRACLET tours and though she doesnt have the stage presence of most great performers...she is a fun time. She sings all the songs you want to hear and it's basically a sing-a-long from beginning to end. And it's really fun to see all the queens cry when she sings 'Mariah's Theme'  And I'm one of 'em!

moderator Her shows are very short! Good Info. I was debating how much I should spend on a ticket. While, I love Mariahs vocals... I can care less to see her up close and personal. I can enjoy her concert... sitting there with my eyes closed.
