I usually see Phil Oakey wandering around town. I asked him once if he knew what song the DJ was spinning when I saw him in a night club. Dissapointingly he knew what it was.

i love human league. "hysteria" is album of the week on my net radio this past week... "the lebanon" seems like it could have been written today.

IMO, Hysteria was The Human League's weakest career album. Making music without synths was their biggest mistake production-wise!! This band were never great with the guitar sound.

Life On Your Own is a perfect example of a weak song (by synthpop standards). Too much electric piano and not enough synths! The songs from Dare! and Crash are way better.
