That didn't give it away. When I first saw the song title I figured maybe it isn't a cover since there are song titles like that that everyone assumes are covers...but it's one of those memorable titles...it has to be at least a slight remake.

Then again, she did do two covers on her last album (well, two single covers....not even sure about the whole album). If it's Sheena's classic, shame! If "Public Affiar" proves anything, it's that Jessica can only handle very light dance pop. Can't imagine her tackling "Lover".

I was shocked to hear it on my Sirius radio and couldn't listen but I saw the video like twice in one day or something and got the song in my head for a while...not bad...then again, it was accompained by the video, which was lame...but she looked great! BTW, how much does Ashlee look like her sister in her new video...I also love the fact that she is boxing after a nose job! When I first saw the video, I was shocked becuase I honestly thought it was Jessica and I heard "Public Affiar" and was surprised she would go with something so different. Maybe "The Lover In Me" isn't a cover....or MTV News, which actually does decent stories, glossed over it when discussing the album, what it sounds like and some of it's covers. It says, like I expected, "Spin" isn't a full cover but a reworking like "SOS" is to "Tainted Love"...then again, she claims to have written verses for "These Boots..."...I must have missed that.
