Without getting too deep, may I just say that I
liked Maxwell's CD better?

Brown Sugar all the way, great vibe and sounded fresh in 95.

UHS is cool though.

Brown Sugar has its moments, but on a whole, Urban Hang Suite is better.

Brown Sugar is best and Voodoo better still.

I like Maxwell but rarely over a full album, UHS is the closest hes came thus far.

Allow me to cast yet another vote for Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite -- I really like that project a lot.

D'angelo's BROWN SUGAR was an amazing debut album. One of the best debut albums, I've heard. "When We Get By" is a beautiful piece. Maxell's album was good, but I liked D'angelo's debut better.

Very tough...I'm voting for Maxwell but D'Angelo is so close behind.

Brown Sugar, definitely.


Does Maxwell play any instruments at all, besides whatever he uses to do his hair?
