CNN made a GREAT point about the Mugshot picture. With the Mel Gibson scandal, CNN's been going crazy showing all the celebrity mugshots and they point they made with MJ's is that MJ had the chance to turn himself in, THEREFORE, that look was the look he INTENDED to show the world.

Michael used to be so beautiful.

Anyone up for a spot of time-travel circa late-70's-ish and a forced reality trip for MJ? A nose job or two is still stupid IMO but not so bad. Even by Thriller he was still looking good. But after? Yuck.

And not because of Michael's apperance, but because of the whack editing and narriation Bashit did. Beyond that, LWMJ also showed the world how clearly Michael needs to get his head right, and get help for the shitty childhood he had (or didn't have and was just overly sensitive..) whatever you choose to believe, the facts are none of us lived it except him, and nobody knows what he went through. I hope he gets the help he needs. Nobody could just get over that shit by writing songs and performing. That has got to be like alchool, or any other drug trying to cure a personal problem, it goes away and you are still left with the problem in your soul. It does not work forever. For me as a fan, watching that, was the point where I said, "Man, Michael..." and I just felt bad for him. I always wanted to believe that while it did mess him up, that he one day between 1991 and 2001 moved on from it, but he clearly hasn't. (Or hadn't in 2002 during LWMJ at least) Michael can't live on stage or in the recording studio. Sadly. So at the end of the day, unless he gets true to form help, he'll never be totally happy I doubt. And believe me, Michael is like Batman or Superman for a child to me, he is my childhood hero, so I really want the man to get the help he needs. Believe me.



To contrast that, see the above picture. I doubt as Michael is performing, he is thinking, "Man...my childhood sucked hard." He is probably loving every minute of it. Consider also, he has made statements saying stuff like, "I wish I could live on stage.." etc. And he looks cool as hell in that pic.
