Ruby Tuesday, Paint it Black, Let it Bleed, Honky Tonk Women and Miss You all tie for the Number 1 spot in my eyes. lol

With sympathy for the devil at an honorable mention position.

God... I heart The Stones!
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

good song, but if I had to rank my favorites I doubt it'd even make the top ten above such greats as

Paint It Black
Mother's Little Helper
Under My Thumb
Sympathy for the devil
Street Fighting Man
Brown Sugar
Can't You Hear Me Knocking
19th Nervous Breakdown
Brown Sugar
Rocks Off
All Down The Line
Let It Loose
I Can't Get No Satisfaction
Jumping Jack Flash
Gimme Shelter
Live With Me
Let It Bleed
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Honky Tonk Women

and at gunpoint my number one would be Sympathy evillol

the '60's:
i'm free
satisfaction
the last time
jumping jack flash
get off my cloud
sympathy for the devil
you can't always get what you want

the '70's:
bitch
brown sugar
can't you hear me knocking
tumbling dice
happy
it's only rock and roll, but i like it
angie
beast of burden
shattered

the '80's:
start me up
waiting on a friend
she's so cold
under cover of the night

Why is it I can hear Prince doing covers of the entire Rolling Stone catalog? The RS had some great lyrics there... and Prince could do ANY of these fantastically!

(I'm not sure he "does" covers so well on his albums though...) But you are right -- your list of songs mention the best!

p's acoustic version of satisfaction during the seattle musicology tour was pretty cool.
