India Arie, New C.D. is BOOOOORRIING

Yep, It Sux, I heard so many positive reviews on it. My brother burned it for me and I Finally listened to it. Put me to sleep. So dissappointed. Its Folksy Wave music all the way through. Not what I expected. Oh well, Maybe next time.

I felt like if I was bored by Amel Larrieux's new set, I wouldn't dig india's.

I like India but I can't truly connect with her 100%.

its always hit and miss.

I think she's good for music though.

Her 2nd album was her best album. This one I'm not feeling.

I kinda liked her new CD, but what really makes it a little different and unusual from her previous albums is how spiritual and diverse it is. Yes, it has some weak spots and it took me a few listens, but I finally know what the album's about.

I haven't given this one enough of a chance yet... which is no reflection on the music, seeing that it can take me up to 6 months to crack the plastic on a new cd confused

I think it's excellent! All 3 are great, but I still give Voyage the edge. I think I might like this one slightly better than Acoustic Soul, though.

I think legendofnothing is trying to tell us that the new album isn't worth the P2P download, let alone worth buying at itunes, Amazon, etc.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago and as I couldn't listen to it entirely rightaway, I took some days through some songs first... I think I listened to it completely just last weekend (and I've had it with me since then... ) And I love it. It shows a much more mature process than before... I love her 2 prevuious cd's but this shows a woman after a broken relationship.

Acoustic Soul was for me like dreaming about love, the stage before...

Voyage To India was the process itself in the relationship.

And now Testimony... You know... "This Heart" says it all...

What I like the most about it (and about her) is that she's not bitter about this. She contiues walking, knowing there's a bigger reason, a bigger lesson.

MY favs for the moment:

This Heart
The Heart of the Matter
Good Morning
India's Song
I am not my Hair
I Choose

So about "India Arie, New C.D. is BOOOOORRIING" chair

Come on, give it another listening and fall in love with it...
