could be said as the american ziggy stardust,but no! that wouldn't be enough to say of him.
jobriath was unique,although not as lucky or perhaps better singer than ziggy but hell it was said that he gave bowie a good shiver.
of course jobriath is known more or so for a certain reason why his limelight faded away quickly,althought glam rock was a musical movement which was basically a manipulating of sexuality and masquarade of campy artsy-farstyness(yeah i said it). apperently being actually gay was still a taboo to a movement that seem to embraced openness.this and many other reason why jobriath it didn't ascend to greatness..
