KELIS - Bossy HAD NO IDEA... This chick was recording new material. I caught her new song, Bossy, as I was scrolling through the music video channels and on first hearing (viewing  ) it sounded decent -- give or take the so-so rap. And Kelis looks good, yeah, why not, I'd  that.

This song has no melody, it has a workmanlike rehashed Neptune beat and Kelis' lyrics and vocals are mediocre. The DJ played this song this past Saturday night and it bombed.

Kelis can do better. I hate it when she does junk music like this and "Milkshake" and "I Taste Just Like Candy". She's shown that she's capable of better and its a shame to see her resort to T&A music when she doesn't have to. | |
