Well, the songs where he tries to pull of Prince/MJ are the most listenable. In general, the album is not 'fun' enough, and overall underwhelming. I do have to give him props for his general approach, it isn't really working, but at least he isn't trying to show off.

How is his single doing?

i have to agree with miguel. i had very high hopes for this album
but on first listen it didn't sound very good. there were only 2,
3 or 4 tracks that i liked.

Whatever. I still am looking forward to it. I've liked what I've heard so far...don't really hear the "emulation" of Prince. Besides Pharrell is adorable.

My interest in the album has faded with all the delays since late 2005. But after listening to the album, it's safe to say it's a bit decent. Seems like the second half of the album is the most interesting, though. "Our Father" caught my ear a few times...
