that was because he was making her fell uncomfortable, she's not exactly going to open up to someone who is criticising her. You should see her interviews with Leno, there is a better chemistry between them and hence a better interview

well then maybe she shouldn't have been on the show...cause hugh grant was able to turn his embarassing moment into a career saver while janet couldnt.

Sos you know very well Janet is still trying to portray that shy little girl image while at the same time being a sexpot. lol Just so happens that it hasn't been working so well for her lately. shrug

JJ gives awful interviews. She hides behind a childish, fake demeanor while being known for doing slinky and revealing dance routines.

Her Letterman appearance after her Super Bowl stunt was the worst.

I think that is a family trait..Do you notice that practically all the Jacksons have a similiar way of speaking, including people like Tito and Jackie Jackson?

I also believe that before she does an interview her management checks the kinda of questions that will be asked; Nothing about MJ, nothing about her secret marriages, nothing about Joe Jackson's method of child rearing and nothing about alleged, secret daughters.. lol

If you take out all these interesting tidbits I can see how her interviews can come across as quite bland...

Honestly, it's an interview. JJ has given hundreds of them in life. Before she was on the show, she probably practiced responding to every conceivable embarrassing, indelicate question she could be asked about the stunt.

Letterman's known for being irreverent. She knew that. Her schtick was to be a shyish bimbo flustered by a comedian's joking questions about an act pulled during the TV year's biggest event, an act so extreme that the FCC got involved.

Big ol' disconnect... disbelief She chose to act like a clueless adolescent, a role she reprises with dismaying regularity.

Yeah, I have. It's pretty disturbing.

Yea, people think it's a MJ thing to speak that way, but Jackie's voice is even higher than MJ, and he is a "real" Lady's Man..
