Me!!!! voice voice voice!!!! this woman moves me with every note that comes out of her mouth. i watched a special on her on some Jazz channel, and gained even more respect for her as a person and an artist. i would love to see her in concert. one of the few true soul singers left. i'm glad you had a good time!

She is truly inspirational. I am not a religious person, but I swear I was moved when she talked about a new prayer album she is recording and did a song from it about a mother praying for her son. It was spine-tingling... so much power. And of course "Get Here" was just beautiful. She had a lot of energy and the crowd loved her. The place was sold out, which shocked me since it's been ages since she had a Top 40 hit. She said she had just finished a Christmas album which would be out this year, and a "prayer" album next year. Can't wait!

BIG FAN HERE!!
Her voice is simply amazing, beautiful She`s planning a christmas album... YAY I`m sure the album will be wonderful, i`ve heard her rendition of "The chrsitmas song", her voice is perfect for christmas songs I just hope she doesn`t make it a jazz record, i was a little dissapointed in Anita Baker`s holiday album... Did she sing "I`ve got to sing my song"? That`s one of my favorites

Great compilation, although it doesn`t include "I`ve got to sing my song", but you get her version of "Don`t let the sun go down on me", which is absolutely STUNNING You`ll love it!

she's great! I have a couple of CDs, but unfortunately never saw her live. however, my wife has seen her and said she was awsome. yep, even she loves Oleta, though usually she's not that deep into soul music Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!
