Yeah, see, u like that roughneck type not the Alex Vanderpool type!

lol well i mean I loved listening to Jodeci, because K-Ci has that ruff, gritty voice that he can get down with. Others I love to listen to and still reach that effect are:

Teddy Pendergrass
Bobby Womack
Wilson Pickett
Otis Redding
Christopher Williams
Isaac Hayes
Al Green
David Ruffin
O'Jays
Marvin Gaye
Guy
Willie Hutch

so you see, it's not a thug thing, it's really a MAN thing....

So u like it when Teddy says "TURN 'EM AWWWF! lol

Definitely D'Angelo and Bilal. "I can't wait for a new album by..." had to be taken literally here, because the WON'T come out ever.

Maxwell (I can still see him in that white suit coming down the stairs at the Chicago Theatre. biggrin )

Sade (Ia it a crime that I may have to wait another 8 years for the next release)

Lisa Stansfield (I traveled to Montreux, Switzerland to see this woman perform. I had to do it before one of us died).

Meshell Ndegeocello (the last time she was in Chicago we were talking about exchanging Prince material).

Groove Collective (these true musicians from NYC need to get it together and give me some more jazz fusion).

MAJ (I'm waiting for the first release, but I do have the unreleased stuff)

Jamiroquai (What is it about these soul brothers from England that love U.S. R&B and can put a new spin on it and make the underground scene love it? I don't care just keep it coming Jason Kay. I still can see him take a hit off that joint up on stage at the Metro in Chicago.)

Lauren Hill (The 1998/99 Lauren Hill)

D'Angelo (The experienced of getting crushed against the stage by lunatic females, I can forget. But, having him kiss my hand at the end of the show almost as great as trying to see what was beyond his davidian muscles in the video "Untitled" (How Does It Feel).)

The Rolling Stones (Okay, they don't have to release an album. I just need to see my man, Sir Michael Jagger before Keith fall from another tree and the Stones tour no more.)

Bjork (No one makes videos like Bjork. This woman sings with her soul. She's passionate.)

My wish list has come true!!!!! The Rolling Stones are coming back to Chicago, October 11,2006. I need to apply for a job at the hotel they always stay when in town. This year is getting better by the minutes.
