TMBG in Mpls

They rocked the house tonight!! So I'm a closet nerd. They Might Be Giants kicked it old school. They played everything I wanted to hear and more. Fabulous show. Is there a better catalog of harmless feel-good pop in the world? I don't think so!!

Glad to know I have your vote. (I think?)

In any case... I'm officialy home now, and it was a fabulous show! Being a fan from waaayyy back when and never having seen them live I was amazed to hear such classics as Anna Ng, Don't Let's Start and Birdhouse in Your Soul. They played a lotta new stuff too. In fact, at one point in the show they plugged a radio into the amp and just tried to play along with whatever came up on the dial. It was sooo funny!! One of Pat Benetar's songs came on. Don't know the name of it, but the lyrics go, "Shootin' at the walls of heartache; Bang bang! I am the warrior!" It was such a fantastic moment. They brought it up a couple songs later, and kept with it. Funny stuff! Such a cute fun show!!!

Alright, I'm off to bed now.

spelling, schmelling...
