Mo Better Blues Oh my gosh!!! I got a copy of this a few days ago to finally satisfy the craving I've had for this soundtrack since the movie came out.
I have loved, loved, loved the theme song ever since, too. But, this CD isn't just a bit of Hollywood gimmickry. There's some real jazz on this album. Spike Lee's dad, Bill, produced this with Delfeaya Marsalis and Ramond Jones. You got Branford Marsalis, Kenny Kirkland and Terence Blanchard holdin' it down, too. It's a magical CD. I'm adding four of its tracks to a jazz sampler I'm burning.

That's the only place (that I know of) you can get the Phyllis Hyman's song "Be One." Stevie Wonder also plays on a track.

this is one of those great soundtracks that you just don't skip on any song....it's tight, I bought like 7 years ago so i guess i'm one of the lucky ones who copped the album
one my favorite Spike movies too... and Denzel with that walk.... ...omg don't get me started.....that man has the most sexiest walk that I have ever seen in my life, can't no man walk like Denzel with that sexy glide [Edited 7/25/06 5:18am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

And, yes, we would imitate it for a laugh.
