The Temptations Book

I got finished listening to the incredible box set, Emperors Of Soul and I have been so interested in how they became the most popular and definitive male group of all-time. I am so curious in reading the Temptations book Otis Williams wrote. Has anybody read it?

Does Otis talk about any of the 70's lineup members like Damon Harris or Richard Street in the book?

The book is based on Otis' memoirs, so he pretty much talks about everything, including his own infidelity to his first wife. It's said to be pretty rough on Eddie and David, but then again, they were the two strongest personalities in the bunch. For another (very entertaining) perspective, try Tony Turner's book 'Deliver Us From temptation'. Funny stuff.

Was the book pretty much in line with the movie like with the turmoil
otis had with a lot of the singers in the group? David Ruffin and the
Temptations. Without me yall just some fake ass temptations. lol
Ironically this morning i bought my first temptations cd. A song for you
with the hit shakey ground.

I second that - Tony Turner's book is an enjoyable read. I always felt that Otis made himself out to be the goody-goody in the group. That's how I felt reading his book. Still, a cool read.
