I just saw the LL show tonight, he rocked played all the hits and had the whole crwod in the palm of his hand. The guy is huge!

I alwaya thought Prince took the vibe for My Name is Prince from Mama Said Knock You Out. Anybody else think this? Listen to both back to back- similar vibe and background vocals, and the beat doesn't hange much in both songs.

I've always felt that "My Name Is Prince" was inspired by the LL Cool J song "Mama Said Knock You Out".Listen to the way Prince "shouts" the vocal.It's the same way LL did on his song.When Prince says "That's when I gotcha,that's when you're MINE",he sounds just like LL!

Uncle L came back raw on this track and it was the effect Prince wanted with "MNIP" no doubt.

I always fall for L.L's lyrics also. The love ones... He's one of the best of rap artists in my book also.
