This is yet another(in my opinion) superb recording from the supergroup.This isn't super commercial,but it is more focused and linear than their previous albums. It's like their Purple Rain in that it was the biggest seller,took them to new highs,was the end of an era for the band,and is probably their most accessible cd. It has all the elements about them I love and the recording quality is amazing!It is fast and furious playing,but still deeply funky and hard rocking.It gets a lil' midieval on yo azz and even a little star trek geeky.This is an amazing recording,in my opinion.This is an example of the best of prog-rock,fusion,whatever you wanna call it.Very exciting.

It's my favorite RTF! my other is "Hymn of the seventh galaxy"!
