I need to get schooled on them quickly! I'm listening to Xscape and I think "Is My Living In Vain" is a Clark Sisters remake.

It is. Xscape can't even touch The Clark Sisters original! Just check out this live performance of them HERE

They're the premier vocalists responsible for influencing Missy Elliott, Kelly Price, Whiteney Houston, Mariah Carey, Tweet, Beyonce, Lil' Mo, Faith Evans, Fantasia and a host of other female R&B vocalists.

Where do I start in their catalog????

good question...b/c alot of their older stuff is hard to find. I have their "Heart and Soul" and "Conqueror" on MP3, but I would love to have stuff from their early days.

You can still find their Is My Living In Vain CD in a lot of stores or online (Wal-Mart, Tower Records, Amazon, etc.) - that would be a good place to start.

They have also remastered a lot of their older albums (from the 70s) on CD. You Brought The Sunshine was the album that really put them on the gospel map.
