Actress Carmen Electra and Rock Star: Supernova's Dave Navarro have separated.

Electra and Navarro are "amicably separating," says rep Jill Fritzo. They married on Nov. 22, 2003 in a wedding documented on the 2004 MTV reality show 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.

Although rumors of trouble had circulated for months, the couple always insisted they were fine. Navarro, who has played guitar for Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, even turned out to support Electra at the New York City premiere of Scary Movie 4 on April 10.

That month, Electra told PEOPLE, "We're fine! I'm not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we're the perfect couple, but we're pretty damn good." If there were trouble, she added, "I wouldn't have my ring on. I would not walk around and pretend."

This was the second marriage for Electra (real name: Tara Leigh Patrick), 34. She married NBA star Dennis Rodman in Las Vegas in November 1998, but the union ended five months later. It was a third marriage for Navarro, 39.

At Navarro and Electra's wedding, which took place at L.A.'s St. Regis Hotel, the 200 guests – including Hugh Hefner and Sharon Osbourne – were escorted into a Garden of Eden-like setting, complete with projected water walls, flowered metal vines and a white python, PEOPLE reported.

Gazing at her husband to be, Electra joked during her vows, "I thought I would never marry a guy who looks in the mirror more than I do."

I bet they were fighting over eyeliner. Rumor has it that Navarro's already seeing some other chick. Not that I read any of the gossip.

I used to like Dave Navarro now i think he's an asshole, more obsessed with celebrity than making great music. The main reason Jane's Addiction split up again the other year.

Yeah Carmen is very cute and Dave seems like a cool guy...but finally it's their decision and the world can live with it.

Can't people in showbiz stay married for more than 5 minutes.? It makes you wonder at the likes of Denzil Washington, Samuel L.Jackson, Paul Newman who have all been married well over 10 years.

maybe there marriages last as they dont court constant publicity about their marriage and they dont sell photos /tv shows about themselves to mtv etc ?

I may have had numerous thoughts about divorce over the years when he would make me mad, but it's fleeting. My best friend's been married for 16 years, my sister for 8, my other friend for 10 and my parents for 34. Quite frankly, I know more people that have been married for many years than I do who are divorced.

The thing about these Hollywood marriages it's like they last until the media loses interest in them, or after the honeymoon period(it's almost like they expect a marriage to be one very long honeymoon). It make ones wonder whether these marriages are geniue in the first place..

I seen it coming. Most couples that get married on TV or have show together never stay together.

I doubt whats-his-name from the Brady Bunch will stay together with his new wife.
