i just saw a segment with Mariah Carey, about a duet with Janet. "I love Janet I love Jermaine". she said she was just waiting for Jermaine to call her bout it.

Midtempo. And cooing. I don't want competing vocal gymnastics. Janet couldn't keep up and Mariah would look silly.

Nothing like the Whitney/Mariah puke-fest that was "When You Believe", please! How about something along the lines of "Get Your Number" and "All Nite (Don't Stop)".

Janet has used better singers on her songs before ("This Time" and "Velvet Rope"), but I wouldn't really consider them duets. Maybe Mariah will do some kind of background vocals.
