Props to Mr. Sparks for this though. I know he could have done a dozen other Hip Hop comp's. NOW RUN and get it. You could sell it on Ebay in a few as a collectors item.

Mr Brown in October

wow, those are a lot of songs....i did love "i can't wait feat. outkast" i thought that was the most mello/soulful collabo ever....

But I don't think people realize the anomaly of a mix like this. Look on any shelf in the R&B mix cd section you are going to see generic mix after predictable mix. But this really shines in all aspects. And to have a heavy weight like Wally Sparks do this? Impressive all around...

I hope he does Because I think the tide is turning..and I think there's alot of people who will be surprised by a series like that. He would be a pioneer and it would be a statement to alot Mix Tape Dj's. That he is more daring then they are.

He could have literally done anyone in the South and he picked Sleepy Brown. He could have done a T.I. mix maybe or another Chamillionaire
That speaks more to his character and love for the music. And this kind of thing rarely happens. It's all airbrushed models in bikinis with commercial rappers doing same ol club/street joints.

In a way this gave Organized Noize some promotion as well since Sleepy is a member of the production team: Organized Noize. So it works two fold.
It sticks out like a sore thumb if you see the slew of releases.
