songs you truly love by artists you dislike

snowflake

my guilty pleasure for a while now has been Britney's "Everytime".

i can't help it, i just love that song plus i think it's one of a
few instances where i seem to actually like her (almost, lol).

so what songs by bands or artists that you truly dislike and would
never buy an album from, do you secretly love?

Beautiful - Christina Aguilera. Not to bring this heifer up again, but it's the only one that comes to mind.

There's a mash up with Britney Spear's "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and the Skatalites's "James Bond" that I love to death, but I can't stand Britney's music. I don't know if this count as a true Britney song because it's being backed by the Skatalites, a band that I like a lot. I kinda like when mash ups are like that though....taking two incredibly different songs and fusing them together,

smile I love that song, but I don't dislike him as a whole. A few of his songs are alright.

Broccoli Spears' song Toxic was really fun...I can't really think of any others. Actually she swayed me into liking "Everytime" once I saw a euro interview clip of her playing it solo on a baby grand, impromptu...and she was actually singing relatively normal. It was a catch 22 on my part because I ended up liking the song more, but then being irritated by Britney Spears , because all I could think is, "Heffer, if you know how to play a piano that decently and can sing like a quasi normal human being, why the hell are you subjecting us to that video tripe with you in those silly clothes doing those stupid dance moves warbling that phlegmy-sounding 'oooah iayyy ooooah' all the damn time???" mad

Like some mentioned, "Toxic" really is a fun song. Those keyboard strings are great. I wouldn't say that I particularly dislike Justin Timberlake, but I think "Cry me a river" is great. Great vocals and more than anything else a truly interesting production, IMO.
