In May, Janet shot a session with photographer James White. This was featured on Entertainment Tonight and said to be the album cover shoot. Today the first image from that shoot has been released. Some orgers will be pleased to know that she is fully clothed.

When the shadow is too dark too soon and doesn't show the hint of dimension beyond it, it changes the shape. Same for the cheek on the right. It changes the shape of her face. They could have darkened and still left the subtleties of the first image. That one is so much more natural. And it looks like her.

Never paid attention to the nose job. That could be part of it too.

I respect all opinions here, but I personally don't get why an album cover has to be strikingly original. Isn't it the music inside that matters?

EDIT: That said, I WAS looking for a departure from the naked covers.

For the most part, you're right because at some point you start to associate it with the music anyway. It shouldn't be bad, though. Hard to get past that one, even if the music inside is incredible. Of course, it's always better if the cover is original.
