Remy Shand isn't bad! Man I was doing some deep cleaning around the house today and came up on a case of about 10 Cd's that I totallly forgot I had. Most of it was throw away fluff that was either given to me or I acquired through the used record bin at Wherehouse. The only two I bothered to Listen two were P.M. Dawn (who actually is still quite entertaining, and my first ever concert I saw when I was 12 by the way!) and Remy Shand! Man Remy Can sing his crack off. The record is pretty soulful, and he plays all the instruments and wrote all the songs! The cat is basically what Timberlake wishes he could be, an authentic, soulful R&B crooner who made a record that the grown and sexy can hump too! WHy this dude never got over is something I can't figure out. I hope Remy comes out with a new album soon, I'll cop it for sure! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

I'm glad to hear love for that album. I couldn't stand it (recently tried to give it another chance and just found myself hating it more). I hope to get a good deal for it, when I sell it.

Dude was boring as fuck. I went to see his live show but I never bought the CD. I'm glad. ?He's a better producer than a performer/artist.

I remembering getting ready... and either BET or VH1 was on... all I remember when I first heard his song...
I literally broke my neck to see who it was... I first thought... "Prince??" with such a high vocal... I still love "take a message"... whenever I hear it. ~Falling short of finding new music... any good.

I remember the first time I heard this song.It was late at night and I was driving when it came on the radio.I instantly thought "Marvin Gaye circa 1978".It sounds like something from the 'Here My Dear' album.Needless to say,I went out the next day and bought the CD

As big of a Kedar fan that I am, I never got into this cat. His falsetto seems so forced and strained that it bothers the fuck out of me. ~This brown experience made me the man that I was meant to be~

He wasn't that good live, I agree, but the cd made up for that. I still listen to it occasionally. Unfortunately I'm not as optomistic about his return. It's been over four years, and if there's not an inkling of information about him being in the studio or having a release date, I don't think he's coming back. Plus I don't have good feelings about Motown, but who knows, we shall see. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
