Definitely the best solo song from the family outside of the big 3

I haven`t noticed a thread about "centipede" before, but i guess there are some songs and albums that do get a lot of attention here...
It`s still a great song though biggrin

Just goes to show you how classic and timeless this track is. I wish I could geta hold of this album. I wonder if the other songs are as good.

I'm not sure but I think someone said it was Martha Wash.

Yes, it's Martha Wash. When a lot of people say "Rebbie sounds so good on Centipede," inevitably they're referring to the parts Martha sings.

I would have loved to see a list of all the songs she`s provided backup for.
Do you know any other songs besides this and the Sylvester records?

Yeah, Martha's a bad girl who has never really gotten all the fame she has been due.

I don't know a complete list but I do know she did vocals for several tracks for Black Box and C & C Music Factory. I remember her doing something for the group Seduction also. She also had a great solo album.

LaToya had a solo career?

She charted nine songs on the R&B chart, two on the Hot 100. Rebbie had 7 R&B hits (two in the top 10) and one Hot 100.

LaToya's ONLY memorable moment to me is when she covered "Private Joy". And even Full Force worked with her at some point.....
