radiohead is/are great because they are so individual they never bow to popular trends. You'd never have imagined it from Creep, which fit so well on 90's radio. Radiohead seems to do exactly what it wants.

but more than that they're great because as creative & experemental as they are, they write great music with great melodies, great lyrics, great arrangements, great production, great playing, and they craft entire albums, they don't just piece a bunch of songs together.
