Slick list !

Kevin Kendrick(s) from Cameo .
I've seen him play live and that shit was overwhelming .
Loudest and impressive wall of sound which i experienced and that flowed over the hip grinding audience .
Kevin recently toured with Madonna , and with Outkast , along with Cameo-bassist Aaron Mills , who played the studio-bassline for Miss Jackson .

Gregory Johnson , showing his synth-tools .

Rahni P. Harris (left) , Shawn Sandridge (2nd left) & Chris Jones (3rd left)from Dayton

Charles Cedell Carter & Delburt Taylor ( both in the middle )

Charles with his brother Sam Carter ( both on the far right )

James "Mtume" Heath & Philip Field ( top row )

... brother Billy Nunn ( with his wife , Bev )

Robert Brookins ...

... & his very first project with brother Michael , on the left .

... Robert on the far left ...

... & also in the SC Band played drummer Rayford Griffin , whose multi-instrumental brother Reggie played some amazing synthwork and later had much involvement in Chaka's re-vamp of Prince's I Feel For You

" I'm gonna B-Mice-Elf " dancing jig

" MOVE ! " headbang

Levi Ruffin

Michael Winston ( far left above ) with the BK's

Jeff Bova ...

... with Change ...

... Herbie's Rockit Band

Roger Sause ( above in the middle ) from Shock .
His brother synthed along on the Waves lp . The album-opener , Elecrotophonic Phunk is a blasting wave of synthpower .

Monte

David Frank ( left )

Eumir produced the following artists and also performed on some :

1 .

2.

3.

In Kleeer , Norman Durham & Woody Cunningham ( in the middle ) jammed the synths

4.

Juicy started as a 4 or 5-piece band in 1982
Synth/sax-lady Katreese Barnes from Juicy already had sung lead on Deodato's "Keep On Moving" and "Happy Hour" .
Katreese and her brother Jerry re-appeared on Deodato's Motion-album in 1984 and the year after they released as a duo now , their second album .

With this album they scored a solid hit called " Sugarfree " , later in hiphop sampled by AZ in "Sugar Hill" .

In 1987 , their last album appeared and was partly produced by Deodato and partly by Lenny White , who used his alter-ego name , Flare Funston .

It contains fine tracks like "After Loving You" and "Serious" , featuring Chaka's brother and Jamaica Boy , Mark Stevens .

After that album both Katreese & Jerry went to do guestwork .
Katreese can be heard in recent reordings from Hiram Bullock and has currently her own site love

Jerry toured for a few years with Chic .

Khris Kellow ( left ) played with Kleeer on their GetReady-album from 1982 .
Kleeer had Mic Murphy from The System as stage-manager , and in 1983 Mic and David Frank produced the group Attitude whch also featured Cindy Mizelle on lead-vocals .

They had a whole synth-army !

Ernesto Phillips rose

George Phillips

Kyode Adeyamo

Louie Oxley

Marvin Ennis ( on the left ) .
Marvin released his own project , also produced by Starpoint's producer , Lionel Job

Kevin McCord ( second from right , next to Al Hudson on the far right ) .
Kevin added a lot of synth-spice to the groupsound .
Some hot flava's :
- Can I
- Mr. Groove
- Sugar Rock

Hubert Eaves,III . ( on the left )
Hubert and James "D-Train" Williams created a unique , powerfull , New York-based synth-sound .
During the succesfull era of D-Train hits , Hubert released another project in the that same sound-area :

Another good example of that sound is the rare-album from Network .

Brothers Michael "Kashif" Jones and Paul Laurence Jones

Attala Zane Giles ( on the left / Deco , Osborne & Giles , Switch )

Rex Salas ( far left / Tease , Deco , Gary Taylor , Musical Director on Janet's "Janet" & "Velvet Rope" Tour )

Barry Eastmond .
( Anita Baker , Freddie Jackson , Will Downing , etc )

The recruits from Maze

- Sam Porter ( 4th from the right )
- Phillip Woo ( 3rd from the right / also played with Roy Ayers )

- William "willpower" Bryant , III ( in the middle , top row )

Wayne "Ziggy" Linsey ( hubby of Lynn Fiddmont Linsey )

http://www.myspace.com/th...roductions

I discovered Lesette's appearance first on Tom Browne's album with Funkin' For Jamaica .
She also played the years after that album on a few projects of Roy Ayers .
