nice listening... however the more i listen to this track and others off this album i ask myself....
why does this particular track sound like, or reminds me so much of
prince's "muscicology" track...
did he (subconciously) "pick up these pieces?"
anyone else hear the similairity in this sound? hmmm

interestingly,in the 70s,James Brown thought that "Pick Up The Pieces" was a rip-off of his sound.He released a song called "Pick Up The Pieces One By One" directed at Average White Band.His attitude was "I'll show you guys how it's supposed to be done!"

he did it to Bowie, he did it to BT express ( the jb's monorail) which sucked mooseballs. JB may be the Godfather, but you know his aint right in the head.. LOL

Actually, it's similar to James Brown's Ain't It Funky Now
