the Black MADONNA? as in Ciccone, or Virgn Mary? i know Jody Watley was dubbed the black MADONNA..but Donna Allen? i don't know many people that remember the song...let alone her.

I'm not sure...but I think this lady lives in Florida. If this is the same person I'm thinking, I used to watch her do small jazz club gigs with friends over there...I think I got one of her business cards somewhere---she has a music and entertainment production company now, I think ...if this is the same singer, let me tell you, she will tear a stage UP, baby. Whether she's on a big festival stage, or 3ft nightclub platform, she brings the HEAT...

...that outfit on that album cover is a bit unfortunate, though ...

i soo used to love that video...my mom would dance around the living room to it while cleaing on sunday mornings...chalk this one up to better left as a memory.
