Wow. That first clip is horrendous. Perhaps that was in his contract? And Loose Booty sounds unlike the LP version and way less funky. Higher doesn't even sound that great. You can see that the guy was sort of a mess and isn't this right before his sales just started sinking? Thanks for the clip though. Interesting to say the least. (p.s.....i didn't see Larry....had he left already?)

now here is a great clip....and check out Larry before his moustache!! looks like the guitar player passed it down to him.....and Larry looks so young you almost don't even recognize him

Ottensen

Okay. Wait. Explain something to me:

Does a person have to be HIGH to figure out what the hell was going on in that opening sequence..Bbecause you know, being sober at this moment and having not hit happy hour today, I'm not really sure I understand what exactly transpired there eek

lol lol lol

funkpill you rule as always son! Damn I miss the glitz of the 1970's tv award shows. Now Sly singing "Everyday People" with Tom Jones from 74's "Midnight Special" is hilarious.

I check out the lastest postings of Sly almost daily.

For trio performance, his voice sounds like it was ready to snap. eek

That was first time I ever seen a clip of them singing "Loose Booty,"it wasn't bad but it could of been better. "Higher" well...Sly skipped a few verses and sang until he left the stage. I was wondering though:

Was that Freddie on guitar?

Who were those brotha's playing the organ and drums?

Where was Jerry Martini? That dude playing the sax on the end looked alot like
Lee Oskar from War (I know it wasn't him, but I 'm sayin')
