I went to see her last Thursday .She was wonderful but we only stayed for a couple songs because my friend got shoved and sprained her ankle and we had to take her to the hospital.
One of the roughest concert crowds I've ever been in and I go to a lot of concerts. It's safer in a mosh pit...at least in a mosh people are usually looking out for each other. sad
Lots of unhappy people were leaving early, even though she did sound great.

DAMN eek Who else was on the bill? I can't imagine her drawing a crowd like that confused Seems like her audience would be a little older, a little more chill sad

Eric Crittenden opened for her.
There were people from all ages and types there. We thought it would be different too. Maybe there was a full moon or something but people were crazy.
I would like to see her again under better circumtances. I think she's genious. cool

Where were you? She played on June 23rd in Saratoga, and a couple of days before that she was in SF at Union Square where she performed four songs, and interviewed for KMEL. That show was really wonderful. It was a small, classy outdoor venue. There really was no bad seat in the place. India really put on a show, it was touching, fun. She'll be back, I'm sure.

You will have a wonderful early birthday at her show. Just brush up on all the cds, and you will be ready for a great time. She connects really well with the audience, and she likes to talk in between songs. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Didn't hear about the Union Square thing (I don't listen to the radio) & Saratoga sounds like some DRIVING lol

If I didn't get a txt msg the night before, I would have missed her at Union Square, I don't listen to that station. It seems that India is mostly performing 30 or more miles outside of the Bay Area. Last time she was at a winery up North. Go for it next time, she's worth the trip. wink I think the success of 'Testimony' might bring her closer for the next leg of the tour.
