My Look Back of the Day: SARAYA "love has taken its toll"

One of my fave Rock bands, though they only cut 2 records and then were the victims of Managers and Labels and Grunge. They were a cool band, i met them a few times at gigs here in NYC when they played these little clubs and they were always cool to talk too, I figured i post this since i found out that the Keyboard Player from their first CD died recently at age 44. Lead singer Sandi Saraya was a great vocalist, could have been in the Ann Wilson category, but she gave it all up for the family life, she married Tesla member Brian Wheat and they soon divorced in the Mid 90's.

Back to the Bullet (their second single from the first CD, they didnt film any for their second CD)

I have both albums (on cassette). I had the biggest crush on Sandy Saraya - for awhile there, she was being marketed as the female "Jon Bon Jovi". Loved the videos and the guitar player had some cool licks, especially on "Back to the Bullet" (my fave song of theirs).

Such a cool band.
