VinnyM27 said: It's a pretty great album but I have nearly all of the Bowie ninties and on albums (starting with "Black Tie..") and I still think "Heathen" is his best..."1. Outside" might be second. Awesome music, very dark and kind of complicated. BTW, anybody have the new Blender? I just got it and they review all of his later albums. Not sure if I agree with the critiques, though.
could u scan the article, please... We don't get blender here.. I'd really love 2 read it.. ...Your coochie gonna swell up and fall apart...

This was also one of his riskiest endeavors...wasn't this his first stadium-sized tour following the retirement of his 'hits?'. It was the only time I recall ever seeing so many people hit the exits after the opening act (NIN)... That happened when he played London too. I saw three nights of the Outside tour at Wembley (with a very distracted, lacklustre Morrissey supporting) and the set was met with dazed bafflement by the Let's Dance crowd, who started trouping homewards midway through. The album wasn't exactly embraced by critics either, when it first appeared, most giving it lukewarm reviews. It was, of course, the era when everyone else apart from Blur was trying to sound or be like Oasis. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
