Lets not forget he also wrote, "Read Em and Weep" for Barry Manilow in 1983 and also "Making Love out of Nothing at all" for Air Supply, and of coursemost of Meat Loafs stuff

They're all crap, but Total Eclipse of the Heart has the least offensive odor.

I have a "special" memory of hearing "It's All Coming Back..". I was in a theather and I think I was seeing "Big Momma's House". Anyway, they played the song over commericals (before the real previews). Anyway, the song kept going on and on and it was seriously like the epic album verison (I know Steinman's songs go long but holy shit). It was funny as hell because we kept thinking it was going to end and it went on for maybe 10 mintues!

Of the songs, I think "Total" is the most memorable. I love the Nikki French cover.

I actually heard the Nikki French version first, it`s been a long time since i`ve heard it though...
"Left in the dark" is probably my favorite, i guess it`s the vocals.
