They had SWV on their station Friday morning doing a promo for this thing.
I guess it's the same members and they're working on a new album (isn't that what they all say).
Coco said she's lost the nails.

If Dawn isn't there, En Vogue might as well not even show up.

If 3 of the 4 original members are present, the type of crowd that this show will draw won't care at all.

Naw, Dawn was that dynamic that made the En Vogue engine go, trust me. Notice after she left the group was pretty much done.

That may be true.

However my point is that the majority of folks that would attend this show (average everyday non-music heads) won't care.
They just want to be entertained by whoever is on the stage.

But it won't be just average music fans, they're gonna be hardcore En Vogue fans there as well expecting to see the foursome there, and if Dawn isn't there they are gonna be disappointed.

A) The hardcore En Vogue fan will not compose the "majority" of attendees, which is who I was referring to.
B) If it's that much of a concern to the hardcore En Vogue fan, they'd probably do what's necessary to find out if Dawn will be there before they buy their ticket. Wouldn't you think? That's what I would do.

Man, please, I've been to enough of these "reunion" shows to know that promoters will lie to the audience even as they are strolling into the venue, so you can't be too sure that the original members will be on the bill.

Then it's quite simple.
The hardcore En Vogue fan should either stay home or go with the potential for disappointment.

Since you've been to these type of shows, you know that the majority of folks just want to have a good time and won't care.

That's just it, the hardcore EV fans will already be there thinking Dawn is there until they break it at the last possible moment that she isn't there, while all the while knowing she wasn't there to begin with.
