Very true. lol These days, I only keep my dial on the oldies R&B and oldies rock stations. There's an R&B station with a "soft soul" format that bores the hell out of me during the week. However, on Saturday afternoons, they throwdown nothing but the old school and get funky with it.

I remember back in late 1980s, we had two stations that used to mix on Saturday nights and they were two white stations that mixed pop. The mixes were great but I wished like hell that one of the black stations would mix the funk and R&B. While the white stations were throwing down on Saturday night, the black stations were playing boring shit like Shitney Houston and Anita Baker. lol One of the black stations back then is still around and I heard that they mix these days on the weekend. Of course, they waited until now when R&B completely turned to bullshit. They can keep their mixes now. lol
