I picked up "In My Own Words" today and it's actually a good CD . I know that some of us have criticized him for basically stealing Usher's career, but the man can write a great song! Songs like Sexy Love, When You're Mad and Get Down Like That are actually lyrically good songs. So what do you think?

Don't feel bad. I kinda like him, too. He proved himself as a songwriter before he went on his own. I listened to the album a few times on Yahoo, and I like a lot of it. I prefer the ballads to the uptempo ones. Did you see the thread I started a few days ago on his appearance on Showtime at the Apollo a few years back?

i think he's a tad different than the rest of the R&B guys thats on the charts nowadays...but his face : gosh he's no denzel.....

but i'd listen to Ne-yo over that squeaky Chris Brown any day!!!

I'm glad that someone else likes him. At first I didn't but his Cd is very good and it's all about good music for me and I didn't see your thread, but I will definitely check it out .

I like Chris Brown in a "we will neva hear from you again" sorta way.

Like Ciara....although I think Ciara will have at least three cds and then disappear.
