BEYONCE'S BET performance was SO TYPICAL

BEYONCE'S BET award show performance was so typical, the dance movies, the outfit, the hair and even performing with Jay Z anyways she pretty much had the same performance last year... i dont know why she didint change things up... it was just boring... plus her song is okay... not bad not great... i dont know why but this year im not feeling BEYONCE

the first picture is the 2003 MTV award show and the second is the 2006 BET award show

I disagree. Ain't nothing wrong with a little freestyle dance moves. Sometimes even I get bored with technical choreography.

i used to want to be beyonce but now... i just dont like her style anymore.. i was expecting something different from her... now im starting to like Christian aguilera... she changed up her look and style... but beyonce just played it safe and kept it the same... the clothes, the bad nappy hair and the dance moves i forgot to mention she had Jay-z again... how typical.. why she could have got anyone else

Well, I like it. Maybe its just me, but I found technical choregraphy has become so boring. As crazy as she was dancing, it was different. shrug

lol! What REALLY got me, though, was when she was on her back kicking her legs or some shit. I think handclaps mentioned it in the BET Awards thread remarking she looked like a wet rat or something, and when I finally watched the performance on youtube, I thought of that comment and lost it. falloff

did you watch the MTV awards 2003.. she pratically did the same dance moves.. she was on the floor and shaking every part of her body.. the only difference with this performance is that she doesnt have all those girls on stage with her... but the moves are completely the same... like i said it was typical... trust me.. i use to like be a serious fan.. i recorded her performances everything... i want to be just like her... i can look through my videos and find her mtv performance and it will be the exact same as the 2006 bet award show... and her outfit looks almost the same.. she used the same shiney material...and she has the same nappy hair style.. Jay Z.. has on those same ugly dark glasses

Okay, I just heard the song for the first time and...I like it. boxed I coulda done without the Jay Z part, but I did like it. She's doing a lot more vocally (meaning, she's not just hitting the same note over and over and over), and there's a definite late 70s R&B vibe to the vocal structure, too. It's no Dionne Warwick Deja Vu, but it'll do. biggrin

falloff I think that Beyonce is blessed with beauty and talent, however she needs to tone it down a little. She's much too pretty to be acting like that. In the words of my dear grandmama, "When you're cute, you don't have to do things to call attention to yourself." And in the words of my 16yr old daughter, "She's doin too much."

Ottensen

I like the song. But I'd like it whoever was singing it 'cause that's the kind of r&b I like...kinda wish it was something recorded in the 80's by Stephanie Mills or Teena Marie, though sad

The only thing is.....I could SO DO WITHOUT JAY-Z and his little guest appearances. And though the crazy dancing doesen't bother me (cause I like crazy stage theatrics lol )....I am SICK TO DEATH of watching her rub all up against that man like she's giving him a lap dance in the "champagne room"; they need to keep that mess at home behind closed doors confused
