Is Busta Ryhmes The Shit

Busta has been bringing it for sometime now and he is great headbang. His tunes like "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See", "Gimme Some More" and "Touch It" are the shiznit woot!. He gets my vote anyday. Do you like his music? Why or Why not?

I haven't really dug Busta. and that mostly my choice.

I remember when Busta was with LONS, and his flow was crazy, even then. His verse on ATCQ's "Scenario" ALONE earns him a spot in the Hip-Hop Pantheon (with of course props for the remix as well).

However, I was done with him after The Coming. Seemed kinda forced to me.

Plus, he kept trying to use his joints to "put on" wack MCs like Rampage and Lord Have Mercy down our throat.

I know he still makes hot joints, I'm just not feelin' them.
Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

If he could figure out that there are more WORDS in the English language other than NIGGA I would agree 2 some extent.

I think he says it at LEAST 1,000 times on his new cd. At least.

Busta makes hot-ass joints and his flow is unquestionably sick. The videos rock, too.

However, I'm not sure if I would ever buy an actual LP because even within the range of his singles, the guy never has much to say and it's not like his production is anything totally groundbreaking. neutral

The only Busta cd I own is the latest one with Touch it on it. It's really good with great beats but it's true he hasn't got much to say except for swearing a lot.

It's true he uses that dreadful word way too much. Shame really cuz I think he's talented.

It's also a shame he's such a homophobe, apparently, but I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from a lot of rappers.

Before 2000, I consider Busta one of the best rap artist from the East Coast.

Since 2000, he too commercial & selfish for me to stay a full-time fans.

I'm not faulting Busta for making more money. I'm faulting him for the people all him that are getting hurt (or kill) in the process.

Busta is a five-percenter. And almost all rap artists with past/present five-percent backgrounds (Busta, Rakim, Wu-Tang Clan, etc,) have no respect for gays/bisexuals/lesbians. neutral

Only a couple of strong tracks on his new joint...nothing different or groundbreaking...boring....his CD will make a good coaster in another week.

BTW, this is the same commerical mainstream hip-hop culture that love the make up excuses for putting bisexual women in their video (especially on BET Uncut).

Hypocritical. neutral

Second reason I've gone off commercial hip-hop and cross the street and catch a cab going the opposite way to avoid it. The first reason is that it's dull, lazy, repetitive, predictable shit.

Oh, this was about Busta .... He's made a few great tracks, but I think he's strictly second division.

He has a restraining order on him for chronically abusing a girlfriend including throwing her down the stairs!

That Ghetto Life song off his new album featuring Rick James is the sh*t! Green Lantern produced it and it is hot to death!

his "homophobe" status could also come from the fact that his baby mom left him for a woman....that gave a big blow to ego and pride. that's mainly why he's trying to get sole custody (if he doesn't already) of his kids. Word is he was gonna marry this woman or he kept asking her and she kept refusing..this was gay which was the reason why and he later found this out.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I liked him with LONS, but only a song here or there on his own. Woo Haa! makes me giggle. Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See is hot. Other than that shrug He sucks as an actor. Not that Halloween: Resurrection didn't suck enough on its own, but he and Tara Banks made it even worse.

Actually, he was pretty good in Narc, which I highly recommend you seeing because it's one of the finest cop films made in the last ten years. Busta's not in it for long, but long enough for Ray Liotta to beat thirty shades of crap put of him. lol

Interesting... then why did he have Missy Elliott in his performance on BET Awards just two weeks ago and why is she on the remix for that song? Seems to me that if you take that stance you don't work with gays/lesbians/bi's on any level.

I do like some of his tracks and his videos are entertaining, however his lyrics often ruin the delivery and ultimately the song for me.

His lyrics are that of a 10 year old. How old is this fool?
