No it isn't. She is at #32 with a bullet on the Hot 100 Airplay. The song didn't increase that much this week becuase of the Fourth of July weekend dip that slower tracks (ex. Mariah's We Belong Together) usually experience at radio. She also has no digital download, unlike Christina and Jessica. Janet is 3 million impressions behind Christina for the week, so once digital downloads kick in, it will go Top 5. Beyonce's chart movement is due entirely to airplay but she has only managed to move 44-37-33 in 3 weeks despite 20 million impression gains per week. It was a big deal when Billboard altered their rules to allow singles in the Hot 100 to chart based only on airplay. As far as song performance is concerned, that took a lot of control out of the hands of music listeners. | |
