Don't you like 5.1 sound? Anybody?

I like the idea. But who really has the time to set all of that up? And I never sit and just listen to music.

Yeah, you kinda need the system set up first in order to appreciate dualdiscs.

i got the talking heads brick more to have the whole studio catalog in one place w/ videos and visuals. one day i'll have a schmancy system and enjoy the 5.1, and i'll never leave the house.

By that time there'll be a new form out.

Yea, she is surrounded, surrounded by mediocre pop culture bullshit, and her own music is going down that wishing well.

That is SO not true. Yeah, she's taken a slightly different path with her music (Which I am not that fond of...this new direction). However, her music is anything but mediocre...anything BUT pop...and is far far far away from that wishing well. SHe's probably one of the biggest musical innovators of our time...ALWAYS pushing the envelope with her creativity in music REGARDLESS of what the pop culture scene is at the time or what her fans are wanting to hear.

anyone who'd call bjork's most recent output "mediocre pop culture bullshit" is on some serious crack.

I really enjoy doing that from time to time--just blocking everything else out and totally immersing myself in an album. 5.1 surround sound discs force me to do that since I can't get the same experience from listening to them on my computer at work or in the car, etc.
