The first album! Slave To The Grind is a damn masterpiece. It was a critical and relatively commerical success in 92. I think Skid Row toured with Pantera that year.

Slave to the grind was a badass cd. Yup, they toured with Pantera. I saw them. Shit was crazy. What do you guys think of Phil Anselmo? Did you see the Pantera Behind the music? That was the heaviest one i've ever seen.

Hah. I haven't thought about Pantera for a long time. I liked them in college, around 1992 or so. People like to clown them cuz they were a hair band at one time, but I liked them when I was into that sound.

Sebastian Bach: prima donna with a great rock voice. I wore out my brother's copy of Slave to the Grind.

I always liked that Pantera had a little Van Halen in them.

That sounds like a David Lee Roth pickup line: "Ever had a little Van Halen in you? Want some?"

I saw Pantera open for the Skids on that "Slave To The Grind" tour. It should have been the other way around. Pantera BLEW them off the stage.
