anyway, D'Angelo is far from being a horrible musician. This is just one of many "Where is D'angelo" threads in the past 6 months wondering where he is. Last I heard he is currently recording and trying to put his life back together again.

Yeah, he got a bit bloated and had some drug related problems and was involved in a car crash ( not drug related, as far as I know) and yes, he takes his time to record albums. He´s also having some contractual issues as mentioned by Alan Leeds in the interview he gave here on the org.

D´Angelo is a seriously underrated musician. Who knows what he´s going through, so let´s not make an unfair judgment. Let´s wait and see.Give him a month in the gym, a good album deal and promotion and he´ll be fine.
