Does Anybody Remember That 80's Group "Oneway"? They had a couple of songs out during the 80's such as "Cutie Pie" and my personal favorite, "More Than Friends, Less Than Lovers". Think they were out of the Detroit area, if my memory serves me correct. Anybody remember them? RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

Yes it was One Way featuring Al Hudson , I have got the 1979 album which contains the track "You Can Do It" and another nice soulful nugget "Now That I`ve Found You".
Bizarrely I have a 12" of You can do it by Al Hudson and the Partners , which appears to be same personnel different name. My absolute favourite Al Hudson tune though is the mighty "Spread Love", and finally as this thread made me have a dig through my old stuff the track "How Do You Do" has a seriously funky bassline that I had forgotten. I`m kind of assuming that the album I have is their first as it was in 1979 , I was unaware of any further albums - how many were there ? I also see on the album the female vocals were Alicia Myers - is this the same lady who had the hit "I Love the Nightlife" ? ***IF YOU TELL ME TO WALK A STRAIGHT LINE***
