Can I get feedback on this CD?I just ordered it cuz I was FLOORED by his rendition of "Little Wing"(Jimi's song) that I heard on a clssic rock station. I want to know what to expect when I get this CD

It's another solid SRV album. Yes, "Little Wing" is GODLIKE. but equally flooring is "Life By The Drop". If that song doesn't move you, check your pulse, it's beautiful. Other highlights include "Boot Hill", "The Sky Is Crying" and "I Wanna Get Close To You".

The CD has extensive liner notes talking about each song, and these notes were written by Stevie's brother. It's an excellent collection of outakes, and I would recommend it to anyone. As for what to expect: it's a blues explosion. Love it.

i'm no where near being a Stevie Ray Vaughn expert or even a fan by some people's standards , however i do remember this album being played a few times while working in music stores, and i guarantee, you won't be disappointe!

Also worth repeated spins is his smooth cover of Kenny Burrell's "Chile Con Carne." SRV didn't release weak discs. .Buy 'em all.
